The new passport model conceived by Poligrafico was adopted by the Holy See for passports issued to diplomatic
and service personnel. The data page includes security elements that increase the anti-counterfeiting level of the
document, including high-resolution printing of texts and photos with laser engraving technique, embossed microtext,
UV fluorescent fibres and interlayer hologram integrated in the polycarbonate overlay.
